Math In Action with Field Trip

Math In Action uses everyday and familiar objects that enable students to become more comfortable practicing the math concepts that are so vital to their future math success.


During this Learning Lab your students will:

  • Arrange figures on a number line

  • Skip-count

  • Physically add and subtract by walking along a number line

  • Practice adding and subtracting using a balance and ten frames

  • Use pool noodles for place value

  • Subitize with ladybugs and dominoes

  • Practice spatial relations with pattern blocks

  • Grades K – 2

  • 1.5 Hours
Pricing per Learning Lab
  • $13 per student
  • $8 per adult

Requires a 6:1 child/adult ratio. Prices listed do not include transportation of students to/from the Museum.
