Spring has sprung and creativity is ready to bloom! Enjoy nature-inspired sensory activities, art, and more. Flutter, crawl, creep, or fly on over to catch the fun!
Hands-On Activities
Get Up Close with Nature: Meet local environmental organizations who all bring their own unique way to get excited about nature.
Activate Your Senses: Explore clay sensory play. There’s nothing wrong with getting your hands a little dirty, and there’s no better way to celebrate nature than by getting up close and personal with it!
Seed Balls: Take home a special mixture of wildflower seeds that’s just right for our home state of Illinois! Seed balls are a fun way to make your neighborhood look beautiful.
Paint a Toad Abode: The little critters that call our yards and parks home need a space to feel safe, warm, and dry. Paint a biodegradable toad abode to put outside.
