Kids Design Engineering

The KDE Learning Lab is an innovative three-session program, designed for students in grades 2 – 5, that incorporates science, math, art, and technology as students design and create engineering projects to meet a specific challenge. Students will:

  • Discover pneumatic power – the power of air under pressure

  • Incorporate the design-build-test engineering process

  • Become capable engineers as they successfully meet the challenge

  • Acquire a foundation for developing the ability to tackle more complex science and math challenges in later school years
