Private Play Time!

Explore, create, build, discover, think, play, and more – all during your very own 90-minute Private Play Time at DuPage Children’s Museum. The Museum has been divided into two separate play experiences. Each experience offers exclusive access to select exhibits for your small group of up to 20 children and adults. You can also book both experiences together to have access to all of the exhibits and a larger group.

Quick Guide – Know Before You Go:

  • Tickets must be purchased a minimum of 1 week in advance
  • Each play experience includes up to 20 people in your small group (including adults and children) — infants under 12 months do not count toward the limit of 20
  • Face masks are required to be worn over the nose and mouth by everyone ages 2 years and older
  • Additional sanitation measures have been implemented

  • Tinker and design with Rigamajig®, a large-scale building kit, that includes wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope

AWEsome Energy

  • Encounter flowing water, feel its spray droplets, and hear the bubbling of the lazy river at the Stream Table while you experiment with volume and how water makes things work.
  • Control airflow and make colorful objects float and fly in Air Tubes
  • Create pathways for currents by building links between sources and destinations at Circuits and Conductors.
