Tiny Great Performances™ bring professional and community performers to the Museum to promote a life-long love of the arts in children and their families. Performances feature a variety of subjects including dance, music, storytelling, theatre, and more.
Tiny Great Performances are designed to be an integration of play and performance. Guests are welcome to stop, listen, watch, and/or participate. DCM strives to provide opportunities for interactive experiences with performers and to inspire creativity, curiosity, and courage.
Tiny Great Performances are included with Museum admission.

Salt Creek Ballet is coming to DCM for Tiny Great Performances! They will perform excerpts from their spring show. Salt Creek Ballet is a leading Chicagoland ballet school, and performance company, dedicated to dance education, providing high-level performance opportunities for their dancers, founded upon the discipline and artistry of classical ballet.

The Road Show Inc. STARLIGHTS are thrilled to have the chance to shine. The Starlights are a group of performers in grades 3–5 who rehearse weekly throughout the school-year. This season, the Starlights took the show on the road all the way to Radio City Music Hall, performing in the pre-show for the Radio City Rockettes!

Students from Kaivalya Arts are bringing vibrant rhythm and movement to DuPage Children’s Museum! Join us for a mesmerizing Kuchipudi dance performance filled with culture, storytelling, and tradition.
Kaivalya Arts is a non-profit organization in the State of Illinois, committed to bringing the performing arts of Southern India to the community. Based in Aurora, they specialize in showcasing the elegance and storytelling of classical dance forms.

The Riverwalk Woodwind Quintet is excited to share our music with children at the DuPage Children’s Museum. The program will feature a variety of music familiar to children of all ages. Since 2020, the quintet has been performing in the Naperville area and members also play in the Naperville Municipal Band.

Your family will be inspired to jump, dance, sing and more as Little Miss Ann and mandolin player, Belinda Cervantes of Luna Blues Machine perform fun, upbeat, interactive songs! Little Miss Ann is a nationally touring Filipina-American kids musician who has made 9 award winning family music albums. She is also a former Chicago Public School teacher, an instructor at the Old Town School of Folk Music, and a social rights activist who has performed everywhere from Lollapalooza kids stage, SXSW, the Getty Museum and more!

The Black Willow Brass Quintet is one of Chicago’s most unique and thrilling chamber groups. Known for embracing a wide variety of literature––everything from Bach to Brahms, Ragtime to Radiohead, and folksongs to theme songs––the quintet offers programs for audiences of all ages and interests. The quintet’s members all work as musicians and educators, and pride themselves in making technically demanding brass music relatable, moving, and fun!
