Play + Learning + FUN = A Field Trip to DuPage Children’s Museum!

DCM offers a variety of hands-on science, math, and art experiences perfect for group visits of 20 people or more.


At A Glance

  • Group Size: Minimum 20 (Includes adults and children)
  • Ratio: Adult to child ratio of 1:6 is required
  • Pricing: $9.50/ticket adults and children
  • Visit Length: Up to 3 hours (must provide expected arrival and departure times)
  • Booking: Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to visit

What to Expect

Orientation – Your group will be greeted upon arrival and provided a quick orientation.


Special Entrance – Groups enter the Museum through a special group entrance to speed you right into the Exhibit Neighborhoods.


Freedom to Explore – During your visit, your group is free to explore the exhibits and daily activities in small groups at your own pace.


Questions Answered – Our Guest Experience Facilitators are available to answer questions and will also help gather your group for departure.

Add A Lab to Your Field Trip

Add an Arts & STEM with DCM Learning Lab to enhance the experience by providing deeper engagement and targeted learning. Labs are hands-on, STEM-focused activities that align with curriculum standards. Group Size: Minimum 20, Maximum 120
(Includes adults and children)

  • 1:6 Adult to Child ratio required

 

Length of Visit: Up to 3 hours
(Expected arrival and departure times are required)


Pricing: $9.50/ticket adults and children

  • Educators are Free
    (Teachers, Teacher Aides, Therapists, Social Workers)
  • 1 Free adult for every 6 children
  • Groups that come to the Museum with less than the minimum group size of 20, will still be charged for that minimum requirement.

 

Payment: $100 deposit or full payment due upon booking
(whichever is less)

  • Some exceptions may apply to school districts
  • No refunds below the deposit amount will be issued

 

Lunch: Limited space may be available to accommodate group lunches upon request.

Transportation:

  • Limited Bus parking available onsite
  • Limited Car Parking onsite (not recommended)

 

Policies:

  • Free admission and discounts for members do not apply to group visits/field trips.
  • Groups that come to the Museum with less than the minimum group size of 20, will still be charged for that minimum requirement.
  • Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
  • Only groups with confirmed reservations are guaranteed admission.
  • DCM reserves the right to turn away groups that do not comply with the minimum 1:6 adult to child ratio.
  • If client must cancel, deposit will be moved to a future date within 30 days of original date otherwise deposit will be forfeited.
  • Group visits are not available on holidays and school days off.
