Community Cares

SATURDAY, January 14, 2023 | 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Give the new year a great start and join us for Community Cares at DuPage Children’s Museum. We’re teaming up with local organizations to give children and their families opportunities to give back to their community in a fun, interactive way.

Collecting Donations for Loaves & Fishes: DCM will be accepting unopened non-perishables and toiletries. View their Most Needed Items.

Musical Play with ScribbleMonster | 11:00 & 11:45am

Bring your dancing shoes and wild imagination for the award-winning music and play of Jim from ScribbleMonster and PBS children’s show Wimee’s Words. Using a mix of kindness, music and humor, ScribbleMonster’s presentation encourages children to participate and think in creative ways.

Activities:

  • Make Dog Toys with Naperville Public Library to donate to West Suburban Humane Society
  • Write Letters to Troops with Naper Settlement
  • Participate in a volunteer project for DCM
  • Assemble supply kits for the Backpack Project to distribute to unhoused populations
  • Help local birds find food in the winter by creating a snack chain to hang in your yard
  • And More!

This event is included with Museum admission or membership.
