When school’s out…DCM Day-Off Camp is in! Our single-day camps lead kids on a STEAM adventure as they explore materials, chase their curiosity, and dive into open-ended challenges alongside DCM educators and new friends.
Every camp day is built around a fun STEAM theme, from solving mysteries to uncovering dino fossils. Kids will tinker, build, and play their way through the day, discovering just how much fun science, technology, engineering, art, and math can be. There’s laughter, creativity, and a healthy dose of trial-and-error as campers engage in playful learning designed to spark wonder and build confidence.
Location: DuPage Children’s Museum with playtime in the Museum included.
Age: For campers currently in Grades K–3
Hours: All Camps will run from 8:30am–4:00pm*
* Pick up campers anytime from 3:00pm–4:00pm

There’s a mystery afoot! Campers practice their detective skills as they solve different mysteries using STEAM.

Over three action-packed days, campers explore winter through hands-on STEAM challenges and activities. Sign your camper up for one, two, or all three days!
Monday, December 21: Winter Wildlife
Campers bundle up for a day of hands-on exploration into how animals survive the cold, from building cozy dens to discovering the science of hibernation, migration, and winter camouflage.
Tuesday, December 22: Icy Investigations
Campers explore the chemistry of winter by experimenting with freezing, melting, and crystal formation to uncover the science behind snow and ice.
Wednesday, December 23: Snow Day Engineers
Campers design, build, and test their own winter-ready creations including snow forts and sleds, putting engineering and problem-solving skills to the test.

Campers step into the world of Ada Twist, Rosie Revere, Iggy Peck, Sofia Valdez, and Aaron Slater as they explore DCM’s Questioneers exhibit, tackling hands-on science, engineering, and art challenges inspired by Andrea Beaty’s beloved book characters.
