Reading aloud is not only an enjoyable experience for children and adults to share together, but it also supports the development of early literacy skills, and fosters a lifelong love of reading. Join us for Story Time at DCM as we embark on literary adventures, from the imaginations of Eric Carle, Mo Willems, Jane Yolen, and many other favorite childhood authors and illustrators.

Join award-winning children’s book author and illustrator Laura Smetana for a Story Time at DCM! Laura will read her book My Love for You Is Like a Garden, demonstrate how she makes cut-paper collage illustrations, and lead children through interactive draw-along of a garden scene! Books will be available for purchase and signing.
