Bubble Bash

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at DCM! Spend time together creating lasting memories, taking part in special activities, grooving to good music, exploring the Museum’s hands-on exhibits, and counting down with confetti, bubbles, and more! This annual year-end celebration, now in its 23rd year, has become a holiday tradition.

Special Activities | 9am – Noon

Festive Fun

  • Design your own festive wearable art perfect for any celebration
  • Create festive watercolor snowflakes
  • Build your own snow buddy
  • Launch “snowballs” at a target with a DIY catapult
  • Ring in the new year with DIY ribbon wands and rings
  • Spin, twirl, and slide on the indoor sock skating rink
  • Stay warm while you play in the snow — indoor snowy sensory activities
  • Take home a fun keepsake from the Photo Booth by RGML Entertainment
  • And More!

 

Live Musical Performance | 10:00 & 11:00

ScribbleMonster: Bring your dancing shoes and wild imaginations for the award-winning music and play of Jim from ScribbleMonster and Wimee’s Words as seen on PBS. Using a mix of kindness, music and humor, ScribbleMonster’s performance encourages children to participate, think in creative ways, and have fun.
