Scout Night Out | Friday, January 31
Students will practice critically analyzing different pieces of art in order to identify common storytelling elements such as characters, setting, and plot. Students will use these observations to determine the story they see in the artwork, leading to the creation of their own art story with different types of art materials.
Student Challenge:
Explore art from multiple artists to identify the story the artist is telling through the characters, setting, and plot. Engage in group discussions to hear the perspectives of others and reflect on how art is a powerful storytelling tool. Use different art materials to create a personal art story.
