Do you remember your first visit to DuPage Children’s Museum? Perhaps you brought your children to explore our interactive exhibits, or maybe you’ve recently discovered us with your grandchildren. For 38 years, we’ve been creating spaces where children and families experience the joy of learning through play.
On June 24, we celebrated our 38th birthday—a milestone that would not be possible without supporters like you.
Founders Louise Beem and Dorothy Carpenter launched DCM with just a station wagon full of hands-on exhibits and a dream: to give children more opportunities to learn through play.
Their vision laid the foundation for what we are today:
