Something extra special is in the works at DCM!
We’re planning a brand-new extra special event for Saturday, November 15 that’s a little bigger, a little bolder, and bursting with fun—happening after Museum hours with limited spots, lots of energy, and unforgettable memories.

But here’s the best part… YOU get to help us choose the theme! Which one sounds like the most fun for your family?

Voting closes Tuesday, September 30. We’ll announce the winner on Tuesday, October 7 in DCM’s E-Newsletter and tickets will go on sale!*

* Because it’s an extra special event, there will be a fee to attend (similar to Bubble Bash NYE). Don’t worry—our regular events that are included with admission and membership aren’t going anywhere. This is just a little something extra on top.

Theme 1

Camp DCM ✨🏕️

Get ready for all the best parts of camping—without the mosquitoes! Gather ‘round for gooey s’mores, silly not-so-scary stories, hands-on tent building, and magical glow-in-the-dark firefly art.

And the cherry on top? After a night of camp-inspired fun, you still get to head home and snuggle into your own cozy bed.

Theme 2

Blast Off ✨🚀

Get ready for an intergalactic adventure the whole family will love! Step into our planetarium to play under the stars, whip up tasty “moon munchies,” build and launch your very own UFO, create dazzling galactic art in The Studio, and dive hands-first into squishy, glowing cosmic goo.

This after-hours evening will be packed with out-of-this-world activities, creative exploration, and nonstop fun in DCM’s exhibits.

Theme 3

MAKE Believe ✨

What if… fantasy and imagination powered the night? Join us for an evening where fairytales meet STEAM and dreams spring to life! Together we’ll MAKE our way through hands-on adventures that celebrate the superpower of pretend play. Engineer your way out of a fairy tale fiasco, build cardboard contraptions to capture mischievous supervillains, design whimsical wearable art, and invent new worlds with fantastical cartography.

Step into a night where magic meets making, and “What if?” becomes “We did it!”
