Spring Break Beach Break
Create, imagine, and explore with local artist Rich Lo! Inspired by his enchanting books After the Moonrise and After the Snowfall, children will create their own beautiful scenes, tell their own stories, and experience the delight of making art side by side with the artist himself.
Rich Lo, a longtime Naperville resident, is an award-winning artist and author of many children’s books on nature and Chinese culture. He is known for his imaginative and exploratory approach to art. His creations span a diverse range of mediums, including public works featured on the walls of museums and his children’s books enjoyed by readers both in the United States and internationally.
Lo painted the mural on the side of DuPage Children’s Museum, “Chinese Kite Festival”– a public art project commissioned by the Naperville Special Events and Community Arts Commission (SECA).
