Wild Art & Maker Event

Saturday, June 26  |  10 am – 2 pm

THIS EVENT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE INDOORS

Paint BIG, create a sound sculpture, smash and mix your own chalk paint, reverse graffiti with mud, and more! Families become artists when they explore unique and unusual art forms at DCM’s Wild Art & Maker event. Activities feature new, unfamiliar ways for families to get messy, interact with and create art, and be a maker. Participants have the opportunity to work alongside local or regional artists that practice a unique art form.

This event is included with pre-registered, timed-entry admission tickets
sold through 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 26. Tickets include admission into the Museum and the outdoor event.

Know Before You Go

Important Information

  • Masks are required for everyone 2 years and older (indoors and outdoors). See more safety guidelines below. 
  • Event is located outdoors in the Museum’s parking lot. 
  • Pre-registered, timed-entry admission tickets are required for this event for Museum members and non-members.
  • Guests should arrive during their entry window and check-in with their tickets at the front desk or outdoor event entrance.  Please note event activities end at 2:00 pm.
  • In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities take place indoors.

Safety Measures & Reminders

  • Guests age 2 and older must wear a mask over their mouth and nose
  • Guests should maintain a social distance of 6 ft. or greater from non-household individuals during their visit
  • Guests should utilize sanitizer wipe stations and/or hand sanitizer as needed throughout the event
  • Guests will be asked to perform a COVID-19 self-assessment prior to entering the event area. If you or a family member are experiencing one or more of the following symptoms, please stay home:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough 
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
    • If you have had close contact with anyone diagnosed with or who has symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
