Gifts In-Kind

Help us offset our daily operating expenses through in-kind donations.

 

Donations can be dropped off at Visitor Services.

 

In an effort to keep our Museum CLEAN we ask that items used for food or other products (coffee cans, vegetable trays, yogurt containers, corks, etc.) be thoroughly cleaned with soap and water before dropping them off at the Museum (no food or sticky tape residue).

In-kind Donation Needs

The Studio is now accepting:

  • Cardboard and plastic tubes, paper towel size or longer (clean of any paper)
  • Egg cartons
  • Chipboard
  • Medium to large buttons and beads
  • Pipe cleaners (unused)
  • Office supplies – paper clips, brads
  • Oatmeal containers and similar cylinders
  • Plastic bread bag clips
  • Plastic pull tabs (from tetra pack cartons)
  • Ribbon and yarn
  • Small fabric scraps
  • Jute, twine
  • Spools (wooden, plastic, or cardboard from ribbon, thread, tape)
  • Wooden dowels
  • Sheet music
  • Wire – jewelry, rubber-coated
  • Keys
  • Small to medium molded plastic

 

NOT accepting: toilet paper tubes, Pringles containers

The Construction House in now accepting:

  • Bottle caps
  • Wood

Unusual Recycled items? If you have an item you’re not sure about and would like to donate, call the Museum and speak with the Arts and Maker Specialist, 630.637.8000 x 2660.
