Touch-A-Truck

EVENT POSTPONED

Out of an abundance of caution for the safety, health, and accessibility of our visiting families, we are postponing our annual Touch-A-Truck event to Saturday, August 1.

With current AQI levels reaching hazardous zones and regional alerts extending through tomorrow, our outdoor lot is not a safe environment for prolonged play. It is important to give both our vendors and our visiting families ample time to adjust their weekend schedules rather than waiting for a last-minute disruption.

🌤️ The Good News: The Museum is still open this weekend! Escape the air quality outside and join us indoors for a full day of climate-filtered, safe, and air-conditioned interactive fun.

Saturday, July 18, 2026  |  9 am – 1 pm

Loaders and Mixers and Plows, Oh My! Join us in the Museum’s parking lot to explore some exciting vehicles at DCM’s Touch-A-Truck. Let your imagination drive your play as you take part in transportation-themed activities. Touch-A-Truck is an experience the whole family can enjoy!

• Moving Truck – Reebie Moving and Storage
• Garbage Truck – Groot
• Sleeper Truck – Navistar
• Ranger Trailer – Forest Preserve of DuPage County
• Trash Bin Cleaner – EcoClean
• Front Loader – Naperville Public Works
• Naperville Electric Department – Vehicles TBD

This event is included with Museum Admission or Membership. Admission tickets are for all day; Touch-A-Truck is 9–1. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities will be cancelled but Museum admission still applies.
