Everyday Superheroes Assemble!

Saturday, April 23, 2022  |  9am – 2pm

We are surrounded by super citizens like first responders, health care workers, and educators every day. During our Everyday Superheroes Assemble, DCM will assemble the greatest superhero team our community has ever seen! Bring the heroes in your life to the Museum to play and experience the roles that everyday heroes play in supporting our community.

Special Activities

9am – 2pm

• Teddy Bear Check Up: Bring your action figure or stuffed toy to get checked out by a medical assistant from Midwest Cardiovascular Institute
• Photo Booth: Come dressed as your favorite hero and capture the memory in a fun photo provided by RGML Entertainment
• Design Your Own Superhero: Design a Super Pat and add them to our cardboard cityscape with author and illustrator of My Super Powers! Stacey Montgomery
• Make A Super Signal: Light up the sky with your own super signal that summons a superhero
• Superhero Appreciation: Create something for the superheroes in your life

 

10am – 1pm

• Comic Creation: Make a comic page, read super stories, and more with Naperville Public Library

 

10am & 11am

• Super Story Times

 

1 – 1:30pm*

• Meet First Responders: The City of Naperville Fire Department and EMTs will bring their fire truck and ambulance for an up-close look.
  *In the event of an emergency, the responders/trucks may not be able to attend.
