The Studio is a space where your imagination can take you anywhere. The Studio offers open-ended, multi-disciplinary arts and maker activities on a rotating basis.

Explore the world of buildings. Draw a blueprint, build with LEGO® Architecture kits and a fabulous collection of wooden blocks.

Come paint with watercolor in The Studio as we playfully experiment with all kinds of ways to make art!

play with fabric, yarn, and textiles of all kinds as we begin creating a large collaborative art piece with our newest Artist-In-Residence Angela Lyonsmith. Angela will be in The Studio on Sunday 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. and Monday 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday January 21 – Thursday, January 23
Making is one of the strongest ways to grow and learn. Come to The Studio to create with our vast collection of recycled materials.
Friday, January 24 – Saturday, January 25
Add your own individual touch to our collaborative community sculpture, which symbolizes the myriad of connections between people, ideas, play, and our community. Artist-In-Residence Angela Lyonsmith will be in The Studio on Friday from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Push, pull, roll, and squish the clay into anything you can imagine!

Universally beloved, butterflies are a symbol of welcoming. Add your own unique touch creating welcoming art as we begin a new journey with Artist-in-Residence, Norma Rios-Sierra! The finished art piece will be hung in one of the Museum’s exhibits.
Norma will be in The Studio
several days each week October – December.
