Community Cares

SATURDAY, January 24, 2026 | 9:00 am – 2:00 pm 

Give the new year a great start and join us for Community Cares at DuPage Children’s Museum. We’re teaming up with local organizations to give children and their families opportunities to give back to their community in a fun, interactive way.

 

Collecting Donations for West Suburban Community Pantry: DCM will be accepting unopened non-perishables and toiletries.

 

Activities*:

• Make Dog/Cat Toys to donate to a local shelter with Naperville Public Library
• Make DIY Puzzles for seniors with Naper Settlement
• Create Valentines for seniors with SPARK – Fox Valley United Way
• Create Kids Safety ID cards with Illinois’s Tollway Tykes team
• Help the Pollinators at the Seed Packing Station with Morton Arboretum
• Assemble Toiletry Bags with The Backpack Project
• Explore The Studio’s Recycled Art Makerspace and use recycled materials to create something new!
• Assist DCM Volunteers in preparing materials for upcoming events and programs
