Weather Station - DuPage Children's Museum

Weather Station

Can we predict the weather? What’s the difference between weather and climate? Join the investigation and make your own rain gauge, wind vane, and weather observation chart to learn more about the atmosphere around you!

Student Activity:

The weather impacts a lot of decisions we make everyday, from what clothes we put on in the morning to what we do for fun. Students will build a weather station to gain a better understanding of how the weather changes from day to day. Their scientific observations can help them look for trends so they can predict what will happen tomorrow.
