Chalk Art Event

Saturday, August 14, 2021  |  10 am – 2 pm

Families can get creative at Chalk Art, an event inspired by a kid-favorite – sidewalk chalk!

Come dressed for a colorful mess: 

  • Explore chalk pod physics with slingshots and catapults
  • Smash & mix your own chalk paint
  • Create chalk stencil art
  • Design an imagination hopscotch
  • Interact with regional chalk artists to create collaborative art

 

A family-friendly DJ from Bach to Rock Naperville will be onsite to keep the energy high!

 

This event is included with Museum admission or membership. Pre-registration is required.

Important Information

  • Masks are required for everyone 2 years and older (indoors and outdoors). See more safety guidelines below. 
  • Event is located outdoors in the Museum’s parking lot. 
  • Pre-registered, timed-entry admission tickets are required for this event for Museum members and non-members.
  • Guests should arrive during their entry window and check-in with their tickets at the front desk or outdoor event entrance.  Please note event activities end at 2:00 pm.
  • In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities will be canceled.

Safety Measures & Reminders

  • Guests age 2 and older must wear a mask over their mouth and nose
  • Guests should maintain a social distance of 6 ft. or greater from non-household individuals during their visit
  • Guests should utilize sanitizer wipe stations and/or hand sanitizer as needed throughout the event


Guests will be asked to perform a COVID-19 self-assessment prior to entering the event area. If you or a family member are experiencing one or more of the following symptoms,
please stay home:

 

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough 
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • If you have had close contact with anyone diagnosed with or who has symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
