Current Volunteer Opportunities

Studio Assistant
Are you energetic, outgoing, and have a passion for the creative process? Then this is the position for you! The Studio in DuPage Children’s Museum provides an encouraging and fun environment where children can explore art and creativity. Studio Assistants engage visitors in the art process with open-ended questions as well as prepping and organizing materials, and helping with light cleaning and tidying. Experience working with children and different art mediums is a plus.

Availability: Weekdays anytime 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and/or Weekends

Party Helper
We need outgoing, bubbly personalities who love to chat with people, throw a party, and help make someone’s day super special. A Party Helper will help with setting up, serving food, keeping things tidy, and assist in keeping the party running smoothly so the host has more time to spend with guests.

Availability: Weekends

Greeter
Welcome visitors with a bright, friendly smile, provide wayfinding directions, and answer basic questions. Greeters at DuPage Children’s Museum are some of the most important team members as “ambassadors of first impressions,” setting the tone for an outstanding Museum experience.
